THREE SKI RESORTS FOR SKIERS AND SNOWBOARDERS<\/h2>\n\n

Zell am See-Kaprun is considered one of the most attractive ski regions in Austria. Three ski areas with a total of 138 kilometers of slopes offer ski fans and snowboarders plenty of variety: 47 kilometers of easy slopes, 59 kilometers of intermediate slopes and 32 kilometers of difficult slopes.<\/p>\n\n

Glacier Kitzsteinhorn – Kaprun<\/h3>\n\n

In 1965, Austria’s first glacier ski area was opened up on the Kitzsteinhorn, today it presents itself as a modern ski region with an international audience and guarantees year-round snow fun. Some 41 kilometers of slopes stretch from the 3,029-meter summit to Langwiedboden at 1,978 meters. Three snow parks, Austria’s largest superpipe, mogul slopes and five freeride routes invite you to freestyle.<\/p>\n\n

At the same time, safety always goes along for the ride. State-certified guides prepare beginners and pros in Freeride XXL workshops for the fascination of deep snow skiing and accompany them on the Kitzsteinhorn. The newest slope experience is the Black Mamba, which is a challenge for winter sports enthusiasts with a length of 1,000 meters, 250 meters of altitude and a maximum 63 percent gradient.<\/p>\n\n

The offer for ski tourers invites especially in autumn with a ski touring info point and two new routes to explore the glacier in pleasant temperatures.<\/p>\n\n
