Sailing

Now it’s time to hoist the sails and enjoy! Learn sailing on your vacation or improve your knowledge of this popular water sport. The local sailing schools are run by professionals. And the sailing license holders can already enjoy the fabulous panorama from the boat.

Windsurfing

Optimal conditions here at Lake Zell ensure pure pleasure. Even calm wind is not a problem, then just let yourself be pulled – water skiing! Of course, you will also find for this sport – help and advice at the water ski school- the basics for safe fun taught.
And you will get a chance to test the latest trends in water sports: for example, wakeboards and kneeboards. Refreshment guaranteed!

Diving

The Zeller Diving School is located directly on the shore of Lake Zeller at 751 meters above sea level and is open all year round. With its maximum depth of 70 meters, it is known for its good water quality and abundance of fish.


A general diving ban was issued by the municipality of Zell am See. But the diving school Zell am See can provide them with accompanying dives in the Zeller See.

Water Ski

A breathtaking water skiing, which is not offered at many lakes in Salzburg. Even absolute beginners should not miss this fun and of course get support from the water ski school.


Once you have the basic knowledge, you will soon have an eye for the incredible panorama.

Wakeboard

Wakeboarding is guaranteed to be a fast-paced sport for which perfect conditions have been created at Lake Zell. It offers visitors everything they need for fast-paced wakeboarding.


So that beginners and newcomers also have perfect conditions for wakeboarding on Lake Zell, they are offered professional help from the water school.

Canoe/kayak

You will find ideal conditions here with us in Pinzgau. Either enjoy a calmer ride on Lake Zell or embark on a more exciting and exhilarating type of kayaking. You have the possibility to take a kayak or rafting tour on the nearby Salzach river. However, there you will find less time to enjoy the scenery.

Boat rental

In Zell am See you will find several boat rentals where you can rent rowing, paddle, pedal or electric boats. Enjoy a relaxing ride for two or with the family at the Zeller See. Admire the beautiful panorama of the Schmittenhöhe or the Kitzsteinhorn during the unique ride.
